Jack Bagley
Jack Bagley (b. Sept. 26, 1958) is a television and radio news
reporter in LaGrange, Georgia, and the author of two science fiction novels.
Born in Waukegan, Illinois, as Wando Shane Bagley, Jack moved to LaGrange in
1970. He served briefly in the United States
Air Force after high school, and became a radio broadcaster in 1976 at
station WLAG-AM. He moved to WTRP-AM in 1977 and remained there until 2002.
During that time, he also became a middle-school history teacher. In 2002, Jack
joined the staff of WCAG-TV, Channel 33, in LaGrange as evening news anchorman.
From 1981 to 1996, he was an officer in the Civil Air Patrol, leaving the
organization with the rank of lieutenant colonel.
