John Ringo
John
Ringo is an American science fiction and fantasy author, who specializes in
the subgenre of military science fiction, concentrating on SF scenarios that
have a lot of infantry battles and other types of ground combat. He is published
by Baen. He is known for his outspoken views, and can often be found wandering
science fiction conventions wearing a Utilikilt. John Ringo had visited 23
countries and attended 14 schools by the time he graduated high school. This
left him with a wonderful appreciation of the oneness of humanity and a
permanent aversion to foreign food.
Examples of his works are available on Baen Free Library.
