Sharon Shinn


Sharon ShinnSharon Shinn was born in 1957 and  is an American novelist who writes combining aspects of fantasy, science fiction and romance.

A winner of the William Crawford Award for Achievement in Fantasy, the IAFA Fantasy Award (1996), and the Dell Award for the best new science fiction writer of 1995 and 1996, as well as having been nominated for the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer, Ms. Shinn has thus far penned several captivating novels and contributed some shorter works to collections- many pieces set on the fascinating world known as Samaria. When not working as a novelist, she also works as a journalist in St. Louis.
