Skavenslayer Review

Skavenslayer by William King

Skavenslayer review by Dr Walter Campbell D.C.

The first in the series is realy just pulp...good, but pulp fiction. The second, `Skavenslayer` begins the real saga of Felix and Gotrek`s journies, and from here on out the storylines have consistent threads tying them together. This is also wherein we are introduced to certain Skaven characters who make further appearnaces later on in the series, and where Bill King begins his fabulous narration from the POV of some of the villians ( namely the Skaven, but later a dragon as well) which are not only accurate ( from my dealings in WH old world literature) but often hysterical.

I think this series more than just about any I have read, really gives me the feeling of great gaming sessions. These are the kind of adventures one could have in this world if one had a good group of players and the time to play. Lacking thoses things, Bill King brings it home to you as if you were there yourself, and tells a good story on the way. High praise for this and the rest of the series.
